Abstract

Objectives: Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah General Hospital is a vertical hospital owned by the Ministry of Health with a Class A Education classification. The management of a hospital with an area of 13.5 hectares with 727 beds, and the resources in it require careful planning. The variety of cases, the background of students from various professions and the demands of digitalization of services require strategic intelligence to remain optimal in the management and development of services that remain oriented towards common interests and patient safety.
Methods: This study is a problem analysis or design method used to solve problems regarding planning strategies at Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah General Hospital based on existing problems through SWOT analysis and risk management.
Results: Digitalization of health services which is currently a national issue is very important to identify the needs and obstacles that will be faced. The hospital management information system, bridging hospital services with BPJS health, the SATU SEHAT program and electronic medical records are target programs that must be completed quickly.
Conclusions: A strong commitment is needed from all employees of Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah General Hospital to implement the hospital planning strategy, so that it can prevent previously analyzed risks so that there is harmony in the steps of all employees and stakeholders in the hospital. In addition, a strategic plan is also needed as a guide to optimizing performance while still paying attention to the main tasks and functions, finally with the right strategic plan will solve the problems in the hospital.
