Abstract

Objectives: Environmental health is an effort to prevent disease and/or health problems from environmental risk factors to create a healthy environmental quality from physical, chemical, biological and social aspects. The Healthy Environment Program aims to create a healthier quality environment through developing regional health systems to drive cross-sector development with a health perspective.
Methods: This research method is a problem analysis or design method used to solve problems. Problem analysis describes the problems that exist and are resolved in this study. Design describes how to solve the problem and must be presented in the form of a diagram with a complete explanation.
Results: Environmental health quality standards and health requirements are set for environmental media which include water, air, land, food, facilities and buildings, as well as vectors and animals that carry disease.
Conclusions: The Solo City Health Service has various environmental management programs in the form of monitoring and evaluation in the scope of drinking water management, managing access to proper sanitation, community-based total sanitation management, managing public places and facilities, and also managing food places.
