Abstract
Objectives: This research aims to optimize the achievement of the Healthy Family Index (IKS) at the Surakarta Health Service..
Methods: This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach using primary data and secondary data. Data was collected through observation and interviews with the Head of the Health Services Division of the Surakarta Health Service. This research was conducted at the Surakarta City Health Service.
Results: The results of the research show that the main objective in implementing the Surakarta City Health Service Strategic Plan is to improve the quality of public health development, which includes the Healthy Family Index (IKS), Maternal Mortality Rate (AKI), and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR). The Healthy Family Index consists of 12 main indicators, including family participation in the Family Planning (KB) program, giving birth in a health facility, complete basic immunization for babies, checking the growth of toddlers, treating pulmonary tuberculosis, treating hypertension, treating mental disorders, not smoking, become a member of the National Health Insurance (JKN), access to clean water, and use of healthy latrines.
Conclusions: In order to optimize the achievement of the Healthy Family Index. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide information and recommendations for the Surakarta Health Service in increasing the effectiveness, efficiency and optimization of existing health programs.
