GAMBARAN IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PROGRAM PERLINDUNGAN PEREMPUAN DAN ANAK DARI KEKERASAN SEKSUAL DI PROVINSI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

Objectives: This article aims to analyze the policy implementation system for the program to protect women and children from sexual violence in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province.
Methods: Through a descriptive approach, this research investigates the background, involvement of perpetrators and victims, and implementation of program policies to protect woman and children from sexual violence. This research uses recording and reporting data from the Health Service in collaboration with DP3AP2KB from 2015 to 2024.
Results: The results of the research show that most cases occur in urban areas, where the perpetrator is someone close to the victim.
Conclusions: This research concludes that overall the strategy to prevent sexual violence against women and children in DIY has carried out strong collaboration between various parties in reducing sexual violence.
